Privacy
What this site sees when you visit it, which is very little.

Who runs this site
This is the personal site of Martin Nagy. I run it on my own, and I am the one responsible for the little data it touches.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives your IP address and the usual request details (the page you asked for, your browser’s user agent) every time your browser loads a page, and keeps them in its request logs. I do not export or keep those logs myself.
The About page shows technology logos that your browser loads straight from cdn.simpleicons.org and svgl.app, so those two services also see your IP address when you open that page. Fonts and every other file come from this site itself.
What is not here
- No analytics, and no visitor statistics of any kind.
- No advertising or tracking scripts.
- No cookies, so there is no cookie banner. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your browser.
The WristWisdom watch app
The WristWisdom app for Garmin watches has its own, more detailed policy: WristWisdom Privacy Policy.
Why, and for how long
I am the data controller. The legal basis, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, is legitimate interests: serving the site to you, keeping it running and secure, and keeping my email address away from bots. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used for profiling.
The site itself stores nothing about you. The request logs Vercel shows me are kept for a short time: one hour on its free plan, one day on its Pro plan. Vercel, Cloudflare and the two logo services may keep their own records for longer, under their own privacy policies.
Your rights and questions
Press Contact in the card below to get my email address, or message me on LinkedIn. You can ask what I know about you (from this site, almost certainly nothing) and ask me to correct or delete it.
You also have the right to object to this processing and to restrict it, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
If this note changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
Let’s connect
I’m always open to discussing new roles, freelance projects, or interesting engineering problems. Just reach out!
